Women’s Link

Women’s Link (formally Women’s Church Organisations) was formed over 30 years ago to help the various women’s church organisations work more closely on their shared aims.

The aims of Women’s Link are:

  1. To provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas.
  2. To work together on matters concerning the teaching of Christ relative to life in the home, the Church, the community and the world.
  3. To make contact with Christian women’s groups and to invite them to participate in events, when and where possible.
  4. To raise awareness and address social justice issues.

The Women’s Link hold an annual Fellowship Day each year in the spring and have a committee that meet approximately three times a year. The current president is Winnie Moffett, vice-president Roberta Thompson and the current secretary is Joyce Bond.

The Women’s Link encourages ICC member Churches and affiliated members to send a women’s representative to meetings even though they may not have a women’s organisation. Women’s Link produce a news sheet twice a year called ‘NewsLink’

Each year two representatives of Women’s Link participate in the CTBI Four Nations Women’s Concerns annual meeting alongside representatives from England, Scotland and Wales.

If you would like more information on Women’s Link or would like to be added to the mailing list for ‘NewsLink’, please contact the secretary at 028 (048 from Republic) 2586 1215 or e-mail jfa.bond@btinternet.com
