The King’s Singers will be performing their only concert on the island of Ireland in 2019 at Belfast Cathedral – the Cathedral Church of St Anne, on Saturday 22nd June 2019.
The King’s Singers are consistently welcomed on the world’s great stages and have been throughout their 50 year history. They are ambassadors for musical excellence around the globe and have an ongoing commitment to new music that has resulted in an extraordinary wealth of original works as well as leading to some fantastic collaborations.
Join them at Belfast Cathedral for an evening designed to pull at the heartstrings, laying bare just how deeply and variously love can affect us – all seen through the eyes of an unusually diverse mix of composers and songwriters from across the world over last 500 years, bringing together classic audience favorites with some brand–new surprises.
Julian Gregory, one of the singers, is son of Jonathan Gregory, onetime Master of Choristers at the Cathedral so there is a really strong local connection to be enjoyed.
