Rev Ása Björk Ólafsdóttir, Rector of Christ Church in Dún Laoghaire, felt compelled to respond to the needs of the homeless people asking for help at her church. That something started out as “The Dining Room” in the church hall offering free hot meals. The service responds to the needs of those experiencing food poverty in a way that respects their human dignity.
