Love cycling and want to end poverty? Cycle the Strangford Sportive for Christian Aid and say ‘on your bike’ to poverty.
Join Christian Aid and experience the beauty of County Down scenery on a cycle that will help change lives in some of the world’s poorest communities. From cycling pros to those looking for a fun morning out with the kids, there’s a route to suit everyone. Choose from;
- A 50 mile route, open to those over the age of 15.
- A 25 mile route, open to those over the age of 15.
- A family friendly 2.5 mile route. Children are welcome on this route; however those under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 13 and 14 year olds must have signed parental permission.
On the day you can look forward to free entry and parking at Delamont Country Park as well as smiling, encouraging marshals and a BBQ provided by the Good Little Company. First Aid services and a support vehicle will also be in attendance for your safety.
Christian Aid are looking for people to register as soon as possible. If you register and submit your donation (£20 for adults, £5 for children) by Thursday 3 October 2013, all you’ll need to do on the day is sign into the cycle at Delamont Country Park where you’ll also collect your free refreshments token.
