This event will take place on the eve of Pope Francis visit to Ireland and will include music and reflections from many different faiths.

This event will take place on the eve of Pope Francis visit to Ireland:

Friday 24th August 2018

7.30pm–9.30pm

Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin 8

Thanks to the generosity of the Dean of Christ Church Cathedral, and the hard work of many people behind the scenes, including Focolare, Dublin Inter–Faith Forum, Eco–Congregation and the SMAs, over the past week we have managed to organise what promises to be an event of national significance: Interfaith Reflection and Prayer for Our Planet.

The evening will include music and reflections from many different faiths based around the key messages of Laudato Sí. Speakers include Cardinal John Dew from New Zealand, Cara Augustenborg, Dr. Puri from the Sikh community, Flossie Donnelly, and many others. There will be special celebration of the Great Green Wall and the new “Laudato Tree” project launched by the SMAs.

The evening is free, but ticketed. Tickets can be booked on Eventbrite by searching “interfaith”. Book soon to avoid disappointment as many people will be in town that night!
