Choral Evensong

Sanctuary Church Sunday is marked at the end of Refugee Week and aims to promote the Church of Sanctuary programme, building cultures of welcome, hospitality and safety in our churches.

This year Christ Church Cathedral is pleased to be observing Sanctuary Sunday on Sunday 23rd June, by welcoming The Revd Dr Inderjit Bhogal OBE, founder of the City of Sanctuary movement, as guest preacher at the service of choral evensong at 3:30 pm. 

Following the service there will be tea and coffee, and all are most welcome to come to learn more about the City of Sanctuary movement or to make connections to build on good work taking place across our city and this island!
