Flourish Self Care Webinar on Friday 13th November!

‘Regular exposure to distress, worries and problems and the responsibility of providing support can have a substantial impact on the clergy. Whereas we profess the care and compassion that is necessary for others to heal sometimes we feel that the same does not apply to us as it is our responsibility to give this to others.Unfortunately, we are now seeing high levels of ‘burnout’ or ‘compassion fatigue’ as it is also known. This is brought about by constantly giving to others and ignoring our own need for compassion, kindness and caring. We have an obligation to ourselves to ensure that we have an appropriate programme of self–care to strengthen our own physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual health and wellbeing.’

The Flourish self–care webinar will look at the importance of self–care, the serious effects of ‘burnout’ and how to develop and implement a personal self–care plan for ourselves.

This free webinar will start at 11am and part 1 will be delivered, you will then break for lunch and after part 2 will be delivered. The webinar aims to finish at 3pm.
