Join us for an engaging evening looking at the scale of Loneliness, the primary causes and a discussion on how Christians and Churches might begin to address this problem, which affects many people, regardless of their age.

What might “transformation” of loneliness look like? How can we help?

We are delighted to have Dr John Kyle, retired GP, a local councillor, local activist and who is High Sheriff of Belfast for 2023.

John is married to Helen, and has a grown–up family and some grandparent duties too! John will be stepping down as Belfast City Councillor in May; John will draw from his experiences in primary care, Church and community involvement in speaking to us.

After John has spoken, Ryan Karayiannis (Youth leader at Belfast CFC) will respond and give a particular perspective on loneliness among young people, and the effects of Covid.

There will then be time for table discussion and questions and an opportunity to discuss achievable personal actions. Do plan to join us for this evening.
