The Irish Council of Churches congratulate Fr Stanley and his congregation as they celebrated the opening of their new building in Palmerstown this weekend.  One of the central themes for the weekend was abiding in the vine taken from John 15.  What a timely reminder that fruitfulness comes from staying connected to Christ's vine.  The discipleship work with youth and children in the church is strong evidence of fruitful ministry planting seeds for generations to come.  At the back of the church building was a beautiful depiction of the Council of Nicaea.  What a fitting tribute to remember that the church was opened on the 1700th year anniversary of the council and a poignant reminder of a unifying creed.  Blessings for many years of fruitful ministry to come!
