We welcome Rebecca Dillon as our new Good Relations Officer. Rebecca recently moved back to Northern Ireland and has been volunteering with the Corrymeela Community for the last year where she supported the wider volunteering programme. Before that she was working in London as a Grant Funder, primarily working with local and central governments to fund grassroots charities in homelessness and community services. Her most recent role was with Kensington and Chelsea Council where she supported small charities in providing vital local services and helped establish a new grant fund for charities working in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Rebecca was also part of the Community of St Anselm, an ecumenical monastic community focused on spiritual formation. The Community was held by the Church of England and ran by an ecumenical Catholic order, Chemin Neuf. During this time she learnt about monastic spiritual practice and for a brief time lived with the Community in Lambeth Palace. She is looking forward to building relationships and making connections across churches in Ireland.
