In April we launched “From Every Nation? A Handbook for a congregation’s journey from welcome to belonging”.
We are delighted to announce that we are hosting webinars to explore how best to use this resource.
The aim of the handbook is to:
equip churches with an understanding of diversity and inclusion
support actions at the local church level to improve inclusion
work towards racial justice through faith
But how can your church use it?
We will be hosting 1 hour webinars with our member churches to discuss how to use the handbook. The webinars are for those involved in church leadership or leading bible studies and small groups within their church.
We are running the webinar on three different dates with input from different member churches. Please check below for the dates we have organised so far.
Wednesday 12 June 12pm — with stories of inclusion from Presbyterian congregations
Wednesday 19 June 12pm — with stories of inclusion from Methodist congregations
Wednesday 26 June 12pm – with stories of inclusion from Moravian Church & Church of Ireland congregations
Wednesday 25 Sept 12pm – with stories of inclusion from Catholic congregations
Although each webinar features stories from a particular church tradition, everyone is welcome to attend any one of them.
If you would like to attend one of the webinars please email us with the date of the one you would like to attend at [email protected] for the zoom link.
